2008 was a great year for 3 SVAA hunters when they were chosen for Michigan Elk permits.
Each hunter successfully harvested a Michigan elk. Congratulations to all three of you!!!

	left to right Brett Reed (Thorny Acres Sportsmens Club) took a 5x6 bull elk Mel Drummond (Looking Glass River Sportsman Club) took a cow Jim Powell (Capital Area Sportsmens League) took his 6x6 bull elk Dec. 10, 2008 on Canada Creek Ranch in Atlanta, MI. The elk field dressed just under 500 lbs.
